"Some Words Between Us" ~ Yoga & Creative Writing Workshop

Join us for a unique 2-hour journey of self-discovery and expression through the fusion of yoga and creative writing.

In this workshop, we will explore the art of making shapes with our bodies~what we call asanas or yoga poses. Using our muscles, bones, and connective tissues, we find balance, expression, and a sense of calm within these poses. Similarly, we navigate our world with thoughts, often encapsulated in pictures and words, to express what we perceive. Through our words, we discover our voice and unleash our creative expression.

This isn't a traditional writing class with rigid rules. Instead, it's a space to freely express what you sense and experience.

At Pura Vida Yoga, your unique self is celebrated. We invite you to explore yoga and embrace being unapologetically YOU!

Before arriving, gather your journal, a piece of paper or index card. On it, jot down in 25 words or less your thoughts on "Being Mindful Today." Interpret it in your own way—just go with what comes naturally!

Bring what you wrote to class, along your yoga mat, water, writing tools (something to write with, paper, notebook or journal as you prefer)
